Great news — you’ll have access to the sauna anytime during the convention! We will have a sauna trailer parked on the school’s sports field throughout the entire convention. You can use the gym locker rooms for changing and showering. Make sure to bring your swim trunks, bikinis, and towels to fully enjoy the Finnish sauna experience!
The sauna is notorious for being very hot, so prepare mentally! If it's too hot, you can always cool down by rolling in the snow (very Finnish thing to do)
AA Sauna 'Soldis' at Rastila
You can independently take a sauna trip to East Helsinki to Rastila. Soldis is about a 45-minute walk from Rastila metro station in the middle of the forest, but you can also take an Uber for ~8 euros.
For example, on Friday and Saturday, you can go to the sauna after 3pm, and there will be a meeting at 7pm-9pm (meeting in Finnish). The address and meeting times are listed on https://aahelsinki.fi/kokoukset/?id=89
This is a nice independent activity, and you’ll likely find others going as well, but there isn’t a designated person organizing it. And don't worry, Aa people are nice, you just need to get tot he please and ask for help and bring a lot of wilderness attitude.
